Hitting Play on My Health

*Disclaimer: This post was sponsored by DePuy Synthes as part of an influencer activation for Influence Central, however all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

So for those of you that have been following me, I’m sure you’ve heard me mention my hip pain (every time I say it, it makes me feel like a 90 year old).

When you suffer from hip (or even knee pain), life can feel like it’s stuck on “pause” and like you’re missing out on things you want to participate in. Even in your everyday life, the pain can make you tell yourself, “I’ll just sit this one out” or, “I’ll catch up with everyone later.” This happens a lot for me with various workout classes.

Take pilates or spin class for example, something I once loved is now really painful for me. Lately I’ve been asking myself, “how often joint pain is actually impacting my life?”

I’ve partnered with DePuy Synthes to “Hit Play” on my life and rejoin my friends in enjoying the things I love to do with them – like taking fitness classes on the weekends. So I vow to stop complaining (because I tend to do that with my hip pain) and to talk to a doctor about my treatment options.

I’ve been dragging my feet because I know physical therapy will be time consuming, but I can no longer sit back. I’ll find a physician in my area that can talk to me about potential solutions for my hip pain. Find out more at TimeToHitPlay.com and view the below videos!
