It’s sweater weather season! My favorite thing about this time of year is the abundance of comfy clothes. One of my favorite and go-to looks in the fall/winter is an oversized sweater dress with either OTK (over the knee) boots or booties and tights. For this look, I wore Ivanka Trump bellow-the-knee boots from a few seasons ago, but don’t be bummed out just yet. I found them online for HALF THE PRICE! Lucky you, but sad me. I also linked to an OTK version that my sister has (also on sale).
I love this look because you still look put together, but feel like you’re lounging in pajamas all day and who doesn’t love that feeling?
That said, it’s sometimes hard for me to link to the EXACT outfit I’m wearing in my photos because often times I’m wearing something that’s older and no longer on the racks. I still do my best to link to items that are similar so you can recreate my look. Below, shop my sweater weather dresses (all under $100).
When my mom was pregnant with me, everyone was certain I was a boy. Even inside my moms belly I was rambunctious and wild, unlike my older sister who was easy as-can-be. To my dads disappointment, sure enough, I was a girl. However, that didn’t take away from my role of being “the son my parents never had.”
At an early age I was always more of a tomboy. One particular memory I have is playing cars with the boys in preschool while all of the girls dressed up in elaborate getup’s. Although I hung with the boys and was a pretty rough and fearless child, I was never an all-star athlete. I was semi-decent and played a slew of sports during my childhood including lacrosse and field hockey throughout middle/high school.
I can’t say I’ve ever played it (or even been remotely good at it), but one particular sport I’ve always loved is football. I have so much heart for it (mainly the players though). I love the energy and comradery associated with the sport. My dad, who is a NY JETS season ticket holder, has been going to games every Sunday in the fall for as long as I can remember. Because of him, my whole family shares that bond.
Since I am a girl after all, I was excited to learn that NFLShop.com has a wide variety of styles for girls who want to support their favorite team, but look stylish doing it! From jerseys to jackets and hoodies to hats – you can wear your passion for your team whenever, wherever. Check out my look above. I’m obsessed with the JETS lace up hoodie! It’s super stylish, but also comfortable and wearable.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
No matter the season, I love wearing all black. There’s just something about it… Maybe the 3+ years living in New York City are starting to rub off on me. Or maybe it’s just “my color”. Whatever it may be, I can’t get enough!
This look is no exception. I snagged this dress from the WhoWhatWear line for Target (only $27.99) and paired it with some of my go-to items like my floppy black hat, lace up booties and leather W by Worth jacket.
This look is easy and comfortable, yet still looks chic as can be! Shop my entire look above!
It’s pretty common that when you hear the word “pajamas” you immediately think of nighttime attire, but as of recent, the term has taken a whole new meaning. The pajama trend has swept the world of fashion one jumper, button down and dress at a time. Plus, it looks like it’s here to stay for a bit longer, so why not partake in it?
Never one to shy away from trends, I figured I’d give it a go. I have to admit, I’m not only embracing it, but a huge fan of this trend! Who doesn’t want to feel like they’re cozied away in PJ’s all day? I sure do
Not only that, but I’m all for trying new trends when I can find affordable options. This dress is from Target’s WhoWhatWear collection and I was pleasantly surprised that it’s not only chic, but really nice quality AND super affordable (Ps: It’s currently on sale!!!). I’ve linked to everything above. Enjoy!
